Louis Vuitton unveils The Medal for 2024 Paris Olympics

In order to establish a connection between its brand and iconic moments from the forthcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris, Louis Vuitton has designed custom trunks to hold the torches and medals that will be awarded to the victorious athletes this summer.

When the Olympic flame leaves Marseill on May 8, the first stem will be seen to the general public.PARIS (Reuters): Thanks to a sponsorship agreement with the company’s owner, LVMH, the Olympic and Paralympic flames will each travel this summer in a specially designed Louis Vuitton trunk.

Additionally, Louis Vuitton has created trunks just for the medals that open up into eye-catching display cases with numerous drawers, each of which can contain three medals.

The greatest luxury brand in the world, well-known for its checkered tote bags and monogrammed floral designs, showcased the trunks on Wednesday in the studios outside of Paris.

Since 1988, Louis Vuitton has produced trophy trunks, leveraging its association with high-profile sporting events such as the Rugby World Cup, which was hosted in France last year, to increase brand awareness.

A number of LVMH businesses are participating in the Games as part of its 150 million euro sponsorship agreement with the Paris Olympics.

These brands include the luxury menswear label Berluti, which designed the French teams’ outfits, and the Place Vendome jewelry Chaumet, which designed the medals.
